About Us
The Joy of Baking
​
We are University of Chicago students who, though not professional bakers, love to bake. we want to support the amazing Hyde Park community by offering Baking Buddies.
​
Baking Buddies is a free program that allows elementary and middle school students, in the Hyde Park, to learn how to bake using healthy ingredients and recipes. We provide both in person classes twice a month and take home baking packages which include all ingredients, bakeware, and a recipe card. We hope our program can inspire and instill the love of baking in all.
